SYTYCD tour
June 7th, 2008 . by adminSo You Think You Can Dance. A cultural phenomenon. This show is like the American Idol of the dancing world. And I have to admit; it has me hook, line and sinker. Season 2 was probably my favorite season so far because I was obsessed with the winner, Benji Schwimmer (no relation to David Schwimmer from friends). He was adorable, funny, handsome, and a terrific dancer. So the second I heard that the tour was coming to my town, I was on top of that like white on rice. I didn’t care where I sat, just as long as I was in the building. But there it was, a week before the show and still no tickets. I was beginning to get worried as it looked like the show was sold out. So two days before the show I decided on a whim to check one last time for tickets. Lo and behold, I pulled up front row seats. That’s right, FRONT ROW SEATS. I couldn’t believe it. So fast-forward to the night of the show. The seats were fantastic, but what was even more breathtaking were the contestants. I was in heaven watching them perform their death-defying routines. The dancewear they were sporting wasn’t too bad either. In fact, it was perfection. One of the performances was performed to one of the craziest sounding songs I’ve ever heard, and the dancers all came out in wigs and clothing that reminisced that of Frankenstein’s Bride. It was a very scary sight, but one that left my jaw hanging open in amazement. I’ll never forget that night, as it was one of the best times I’ve ever had. And you too can find dancewear just like contestants wore at sites such as Stars Dancewear just a click away on the internet.
