My friend will be borrowing my car when I am visiting my family in California for a month. I do not have car insurance right now. However, it makes me nervous to have some one else driving my car without insurance. I am researching temporary car insurance. I would feel a lot better leaving my friend with my car if I knew it would be protected while I was gone. I do not however want to insure for any longer than necessary. I have looked at a few policies and they are very affordable. I think I am going to talk to my friend about splitting the cost and I will get a policy before I go.
