I have heard advertisements frequently over the years for auto extended warranties.  I have never paid too much attention to them since I had a newer car that was covered under the factory warranty.  Now I need to find out what I can about these warranties.  The warranty on my car will expire soon and I just don’t want to be without this coverage.  Normally I buy a new car well before the the warranty expires but I have decided not to get tied up with another payment right now.  While the new car prices are very attractive these days I still think I would be better of without another payment.
