Is it possible that any kind of insurance for students can be affordable? Many students can’t afford health insurance, much less begin to think about insuring their belongings. If I were a student, I would assume that the cost to insure my possessions would be too close to the cost of personally replacing them, making the insurance not worth the price. At least in the U.K., that’s just not so. Students can insure their belongings for as little as 1.44 pounds per month, or, less than three dollars. That’s very reasonable to imagine you could insure your computer for the price of a sandwich - or 18 packages of those infamous ramen noodles!
