My friend Ben, whom I talk about all the time, is in the midst of respiratory therapist schools. He’s looking for continuing education opportunities. He’s just a bit over 50, and I’m just this side of 30, so his method is quite a contrast to mine. He’s still not quite comfortable with the internet. His first step is to talk to his respiratory therapist buddies, to see where they went and what their experience was. Then he looks in medical journals and periodicals. After he’s done everything but look in the Sunday paper, he’ll finally venture to where I would have started; Google, of course:)
