My husband is not a planner. It is actually one of the things that first attracted me to him, his love of life and spontaneity. But although I loved that about him at first, now it is one of the sources of frustration in our marriage. He is a spender and I am a saver, he loves to do things on the spur of the moment, and I plan meticulously. He is a wonderful dad and provider and I love him very much, but I am trying to convince him of the need for him to get a whole life insurance policy.
