A Comparison of New and Used Motorhomes

August 19th, 2008 . by admin

Shopping for a new or used motorhome can be confusing if you don’t have some idea of what you want. New motorhomes offer a wide variety of features such as slide out rooms that involve the kitchen, living room or bedroom; the decision of a loft; different design of interior and exterior; solar cells or photovoltaic panels; and more choices of appliances and fixtures. Used motorhomes and recreational vehicles offer many of the same characteristics, but interior and exterior style and design differ depending the year of the model. Don’t forget to think about the cost involved and be sure to base your decision on your own specific needs.

Benefits of a Hydrogen Gas Converter

August 14th, 2008 . by admin

In this posting, I will discuss the benefits of installing a hydrogen gas converter on your car.  The primary benefit to installing a hydrogen gas converter on your car is the savings you will see when you go to fill up on gas.  You will no longer screech in pain as the meter clicks to 50 dollars, because it will not happen anymore!  Your gas mileage will just about double.  Also, your car will have more power when you install a hydrogen gas converter, which is a welcome sight for people like me who like to hot rod.  And finally, you will help the environment.

Download A Water For Gas Kit

August 7th, 2008 . by admin

This guy in California got tired of greedy oil compaines charging outrageous prices for oil, so he decided to develop a water for gas kit.  In this kit he will show you how to run your car on a combination of gas and water.  Water does not actually go into your fuel tank, but the system uses the hydrogen in water to fuel your vehicle.  He was seeing an increase in his gas mileage of about 40%.  Once he offered his water for gas kit to other people, he was hearing testimonials from people that were increasing their gas mileage by over 100%.

How loud are they?

August 4th, 2008 . by admin

Have you ever heard a train blowing its horn and wonder how far away it is? Me too. This thought came upon me one day as I sat waiting for the train to cross the road. In order to answer this question I did some research on the internet and found that train horns can be as high as one hundred fifty to one hundred seventy-five decibels! This is significantly louder than noises we experience on a day to day basis. Normally anything over eighty-five decibels is considered damaging to your hearing, but being at such a distance from a train you will generally not receive the full delivery of such a horn.

shipping a car again

August 2nd, 2008 . by admin

If you are shipping a car, you will probably want to do a little research before you get yourself into anything that you may later come to regret. Car shipping has quickly become a mainstay in the United States.  While cars and other vehicles are made to be driven, many people are shying away from putting too much wear and tear on their precious vehicles.  This is due, in large part, to the sudden rise in gas prices over the past year.  Increasing numbers of people have been desperate, looking for alternatives to help them save a few bucks in the auto arena.  For some (who were lucky), this meant giving back or trading in their SUVs for a car that was more economical.  However, for others, this has meant carpooling, buses and trains.  Whatever situation you’re facing, if you don’t live in a city or area where mass transportation is more practical and available, then you may want to look into auto transport.

Running Your Car By Electrolysis

July 31st, 2008 . by admin

The water car may be the next thing you will consider in the search for lower costs of fuel. It is the engine that runs on water and will bring substantial savings to drivers. You will be able to go more miles and then have a clean emission as well.

If you run your car on water, you will be using a device called the converter. The converter will take water as input and then turn it to gas. The gas is called hydrogen and will make the fuel for the car. Hydrogen has the capability to recycle the energy produced so that you can use it over and over again. The economy of the water car comes from this capability.

Auto GPS systems

July 30th, 2008 . by admin

If you are driving your car in an unknown area, your auto GPS system will provide you with road maps and audio-based directions, so that you can drive the car to the destination you are seeking to reach. Handheld GPS systems sometimes give you basic-maps that are not so up-to-date and sometimes even no maps! In addition, car GPS systems have dash mount facility (though their mounting on dashboards are considered as illegal in certain states) that handheld GPS systems do not have.

Vauxhall Vans

July 25th, 2008 . by admin

Can I get a good Vauxhall van at an auction for seized property? An interesting question and one I set out to answer. The first thing I needed to do was find an auction, a lot tougher than you might think, in fact I had to pay £30 to subscribe to a service which tells me when and where an auction was being held. Once I had discovered the auctions location and times I bought my self a buyers guide and headed down. I attended around 7 auctions all of which had Vauxhall vans at them but in the end I found the best deal was a Ford transit, still I got it for a bargain price!

DD motorcycle exhausts are very popular aftermarket exhausts

July 22nd, 2008 . by admin

The thought of bolting on a no-name, big-bore motorcycle exhaust might sound good, but if the exhaust wasn’t tested and tuned, chances are you’ll actually hurt your horsepower. DD motorcycle exhaustsare very popular aftermarket exhausts with many bikers. D&D motorcycle exhaust was started in 1972 by David Rash after he made an exhaust for his own bike. Remember also that noise can carry a long way at night, so if you have loud pipes or one of the sport-exhaust systems, these can definitely add to the decibels and will carry farther at night than any other time of the day. DD offers several types and styles of silencers to suit individual needs. Typically, an aftermarket motorcycle exhaust is an easy and affordable way to get improved performance from your bike. In addition to performance, you also get a look and sound that makes your bike unique. Try to get a dyno sheet on a particular exhaust that compares stock to the new exhaust to make sure you’re getting extra horses for your money. Riding your motorcycle is fun, day or night!

Moving to Europe

July 16th, 2008 . by admin

My husband is planning to move our family to Europe, and I am trying to get everything organized. I have only ever driven left hand drive cars, so I was wondering if it was possible to get a left hand drive car even in countries where they usually drive right hand drive cars. I am also wondering whether it would be legal. I would love to get a LHD Land Rover to use while we are in Europe. It would make the transition so much easier to drive a more familiar car, even if I do have to drive on the opposite side of the road.

Trust is Key

July 9th, 2008 . by admin

Looking for a reliable auto carrier?  Make sure you choose carefully.  You want to find a company that is experienced, insured, and dependable.  The most important factor is finding a company that you feel you can trust.  It is important for you to feel comfortable with your shipping company.  You don’t just want anyone having the responsibility of transporting your brand new SUV from Rhode Island to New Mexico.  Know that it is ok for you to be selective.  Ask questions and do your homework.  The internet is a great tool to use when searching for the right company to accommodate your needs.  The web allows you to easily compare and contrast companies, access transport details, as well as get quotes.  Stay informed, stay aware, and most importantly, always be cautious!
