What should I look for in an auto insurance quote?

November 18th, 2008 . by admin

I am trying to decide which auto insurance to get, but I am not sure what I should look for in an auto insurance quote. I want to know which things I will need to compare in order to figure out which quote is the best. I know that the total cost will be one of them, but I also know that different policies cover different things, so I want to know what is the most important stuff to check for when I am looking for an insurance quote. Can anyone tell me where I can learn more about this?

Is your vehicle gas mileage up to par?

November 16th, 2008 . by admin

There are many cars on the road that are considered gas guzzlers. These cars run perfectly fine but burn gas very inefficiently thus the name. Your vehicle gas mileage counts these days for a lot because the price of gas is pretty much out of control at this point. You will want to become more aware of things like how under or over inflated tires can cost you mileage, and how driving a hybrid car makes stop and go traffic less detrimental to your gas mileage (actually it can make surface streets driving as efficient as freeway driving!). We can’t afford (literally) to waste gas mileage these days, it simply starts to affect our wallet to the point where we can’t do things we are so accustomed to doing like going for long drives on the weekend just for fun.

An Attorney

November 15th, 2008 . by admin

I have a client who is an Oregon injury attorney. He handles a lot of different injury cases. He deals with auto accidents, dog bites, injuries that occur in the workplace, and accidents that occur in someone else’s home or in businesses such as grocery stores and convenience stores. He has a strong client base, as many people refer their friends to him when they are injured. He loves his job. He loves helping people get the money they deserve after they have been injured in an accident that could have been avoided.

Car Wax Is Important

November 11th, 2008 . by admin

How many years have you owned your car? How many years has it been since you washed your car, polished it, and applied car wax to it — basically gave your car a good wax job? If you are like many people, myself included, you may not even remember the last time you waxed your car. Some people go three or four years without waxing their car, and it shows. It is very important to wax your car. Other people, like my father and my uncle Mark, wax their car more often. Six times a year sounds like an accurate estimate.

Car wax makes your car more resistant to dirt and dust and repels water.   It forms a small, micro-thin layer of wax which is then buffed to a high shine.  When you see a shiny car, you’re really looking at the shiny wax which is clear and makes the paint appear shiny.  It’s actually the wax that is shining.

VW London - We Love You

November 7th, 2008 . by admin

We are big fans of Alan Day VW of London. I’ve been buying my cars from them for years and that was based on a recommendation from someone else in our family. Their service is excellent and they are always helpful especially on the rare occasions I have had a problem with my car which has been hardly ever. My wife has just bought a Beetle from them although a cabriolet in this country is rather optimistic. Luckily the roof retracts pretty quickly. I always recommend Alan Day to my friends and with their referral scheme it makes financial sense.

the pet mover pets love

October 22nd, 2008 . by admin

The best pet mover for your animals, when you move from your home in this city across state to another city, or even further to another state in another part of the country, is one whom your pets love. The pet mover can have stunning credentials and look iimpressive to you, the human. But what if he has a historyof indifference to animals in his charge and that your pet picks up that? He will not have a happy time when the pet mover is moving him. The pet will arrive at the other end of the ride is the worst possible condition and emotional state — and that will make settling in even more difficult that it need be. So hire a pet mover whom you pet will love.

Scooters everywhere, and so many to choose from!

October 12th, 2008 . by admin

If you were to go to an outdoor store, they are bound to have scooters to buy there, just like ATVs, etc. While browsing all of the choices, you will see that they might have honda scooters, and suzuki scooters, and even vespa scooters.

Scooters come in gas, or electric, and even 2 wheels, or 3. Most are what they call the step through scooters and have the engine under the seat. Some scooters do not have seats, and some do.

When considering scooters there is such a wide variety to choose from that making a decision may take some time. Make it easier, and browse magazines selling them, and search on line to make your choice easier.

HHO debate

September 28th, 2008 . by admin

My friend was talking about this product out there and how it could be the gas of the future. I asked him what he was raving about. He said it was called HHO. Basically, it is a gas that is derived from water, and that cars can run their engines off it making them more fuel efficient. I couldn’t believe it. He pulled up some HHO reviews on-line so we could both read them. I surprised to see all the research that was done. I was also amazed that more cars don’t have this feature in them already. Could this be the future for our cars?

Big Garage Fun

September 26th, 2008 . by admin

I have a friend who just purchased a new house. This friend of mine is one of those guys who can work on anything. He seems to have every tool you can imagine, and loves to take on new projects. So much so that he rarely finishes them. However, when i read about an electric car conversion manual online the other day I knew I had to call my friend and see if he wanted to help me do the project. We headed into his big new garage and went to town. Within a week we had an amazing new electric car. Sure beats paying for gasoline.
