December 29th, 2007 . by adminIt seems like what and how we eat has been the topic of choice in the media quite a bit in recent months. No wonder with the rise of obesity and all its ailments and risks. Have you looked at what you are eating recently? Are you eating healthy?
A healthy diet should include plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as lean meats, legunes and eggs, dairy and whole grains. Stay away from processed foods as well as fast foods. There are quite a few fast and healthy meals you can prepare for your family instead of hitting the drive-through of your favorite fast food place yet again. Put together a salad topped with some chickpeas, cut up lunch meats and cheese instead, or make a sandwich on whole wheat bread topped with leftover chicken.
