Getting the mail can be a chore, and sending a letter pretty boring.

So I’ve always thought, “Why not spice things up a little?” And that’s why I like to get creative with my mailboxes.

Most places I’ve lived didn’t take much time or trouble to change whatever residential mailboxes were already provided, but I had a different point of view.

Everywhere I’ve moved, I’ve taken out my paints, and sometimes a few carpentry tools. Over the years I’ve created little birdhouse mailboxes, pagoda mailboxes, and once, a dollhouse mailbox.

I figure mail is something I have to do anyway, why not make it fun?
