Wildwood Wildlife Park in Wisconsin
August 16th, 2008 . by adminLocated right next to Lake Minocqua, and only a short drive from the town of friendly and picturesque town of Minocqua is Peck’s Wildwood Wildlife Park. People from all around the state (and beyond) enjoy coming to the park because it affords them an opportunity to get quite close to some of their favorite animals. The Nursery is a big hit, especially with the little ones, because they get to see baby animals. Some of the most popular baby animals that frequent the nursery are the skunks, ferrets, bears, and woodchucks. You can also walk around the park and see many other types of animals, from mountain lions and wolves to zebras and wallabies. Or, if you would prefer, you could take a leisurely ride on the safari train ride and see some of the animals from a different perspective. While there is always something great to see at Peck’s Wildwood Wildlife Park, they offer something that other parks don’t. You can fish in their trout pond, and you don’t even need a license. You simply pay for what you catch, which they can even clean and bag in ice for you. It’s nice to catch your own dinner while at the park!
