It was my aunt that encouraged me to start saving manufacturer’s coupons. She had a coupon organizer and would stuff the organizer with coupons. Because the organizer was divided into sections such as health and beauty aid, it still took her quite a bit of time to find her coupons. It took hours in the store and at the checkout. There is something about using many coupons at the checkout that is bothersome to others. That was in the 70’s before smart bargains coupon codes were being placed on coupons. My aunt is in her 60’s and she still uses coupons.
