My wife and I are planning to get a divorce. We can’t deal with each other any more, all we ever do is argue, and it is making my life hell. However, she won’t agree to just split all our assets up the middle and I won’t give her everything she wants, so we are going to have to go through the whole contested divorce process. How long does a contested divorce usually take? I want to get this over with and get on with my life as soon as possible. Hopefully we will be able to settle this fairly quickly.
