Lessons of enjoyment
March 27th, 2008 . by adminA significant lesson I learned from my stepmother was the importance of seeking out the world around me and interacting with the environment rather than watching it hurry by. Always, I was encouraged to explore the hills and running creeks that surrounded the area in which I grew up and visit the local magic shop as often as I could. Remaining inside to play video games or watch television was frowned upon. I disliked the thought of being drawn away from my video games at first, but I soon learned that the outdoors was a much more exciting place to experience.
