Our middle school held its spring concert last week. The band director decided on a nautical theme. It came to be because of a particular song from the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean. The students in the choir chose to sing it and then the band added drum accent – phenomenal job! Then song by song they kept adding sailing songs. The students usually dress up for this concert, but this year they wore pirate clothes. The drama department provided pirate flags as backdrops. They sang such songs as “What Do You Do With A Drunken Sailor” and others along that line.
