Why is it that we value entertainment above service? Maybe my observation is wrong, but the highest pay and fame belongs to the movie stars, players and media personalities. Why? Because they’re hyped and absolutely glamorous. They make the money, and they’re usually very aesthetically pleasing. That’s really what it comes down to… it’s all subjective. Some other people have never needed some type of surgery in order to save their life, and thus they don’t care about doctors. Else, they don’t grasp the difficulty level of what a doctor does. In their eyes, movie stars are much more important and significant since they create art for the world to see, and this art touches them.
